The electric auxiliary radiator fan has a preresistor that may become hot enough to ignite a fire from fuel vapors expelled through the inlet line of the evaporative emissions charcoal canister when it is soaked from fuel.

You must contact and visit a Mercedes-Benz dealership to perform recall repairs on your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The notification of known owners of affected vehicles began during February, 1994.
