The throttle may stick open due too plastic hood insulation clips being accidentally dropped into the hose to the throttle housing during vehicle manufacturing. If the throttle sticks, it can lead to loss of vehicle control and an accident.

You must contact and visit a Volvo dealership to perform recall repairs on your Volvo vehicle. The schedule for Volvo to initially contact known owners of affected vehicles was during April of 1993.
