The tire placard on the driver's door jamb may not indicate the proper tire size and air inflation pressure for the vehicle. This can lead to tires with incorrect sizes being installed on the vehicle and also improper inflation pressure for the tires which can reduce load carrying capacity. Both increase the risk of an accident.

You must contact and visit a BMW dealership to perform recall repairs on your BMW vehicle. The schedule for BMW to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during July, 2024. Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
