The side curtain air bags of the vehicle have inflators internally that may rupture during air bag deployment due to a manufacturing defect. This can allow sharp metal fragments to strike vehicle occupants once the air bag is deployed which can result in serious injury or death.

You must visit a Dodge or Chrysler dealership to perform recall repairs on your Dodge or Chrysler vehicle. The schedule for Fiat Chrysler America (FCA) to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during May, 2024. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Dodge or Chrysler dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
