The air bag sliding contact, or clock spring, which is located beneath the steering wheel in the steering column, may accumulate dust resulting in the disconnection of electrical connection.This could prevent the driver's air bag from deploying in an accident, increasing risk of occupant injury.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will begin notifying known owners of affected vehicles beginning in July, 2022. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford dealerships.
