For vehicles equipped with all-wheel-drive, the powertrain control module (PCM) safety software may fail to detect a software error. This can lead to unintended acceleration, deceleration or a lack of throttle response, all of which can lead to an accident and injury.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will begin notifying known owners of affected vehicles beginning in May, 2022. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford dealerships.
