Suspension & Steering
A rear toe-link fracture can result in a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The rear suspension toe-links may fracture due to the corrosion of rear cross-axis ball joints accumulated from road salt used in cold weather states. If the toe-links fracture, loss of steering control would occur resulting in the increased risk of a crash.
Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will begin notifying known owners of affected vehicles beginning in August, 2021. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Ford recall number is 21S32.
