Suspension & Steering
Overcured tires may experience a carcass break in the sidewall resulting in a sudden air loss or could develop a belt edge separation which could lead to partial or full tread/belt loss. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.
The vehicles may have been manufactured with Continental tires that were over-cured during production. This can allow the tires to fail while driving, which can lead to an accident.
You must visit a General Motors dealership to perform recall repairs on a Cadillac, GMC Truck, Chevrolet or Buick vehicle. The schedule for General Motors to initially contact known owners of affected vehicles began during December, 2020. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local General Motors dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The General Motors recall designation is N202319030.
