During a crash which deploys the front seat belt pretensioners to protect vehicle occupants, the sparks from the ignition of the pretensioners may ignite materials such as carpeting or insulation within the B-pillar area. A fire in the vehicle increases the risk of occupant injury.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford notified known owners of affected vehicles beginning in January, 2020.
