The A/C pulley may rub through the wiring harness insulation and contact the unfused battery positive wire, resulting in a short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

The wiring harness of the engine compartment may not have been properly secured, and as a result may rub against the air conditioning compressor pulley, causing the insulation of the harness to rub off and cause a short circuit. This creates a fire hazard.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford notified known owners of affected vehicles beginning in October, 2019.
