The B pillar of the vehicle may not sufficiently protect an occupants head in an accident. BMW is currently developing a remedy (this remedy is not available as of the time of this writing). Dealers will repair the vehicles per the remedy once available free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your BMW must be performed by a BMW dealership. BMW will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in July, 2019. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local BMW dealerships.
