The engine coolant bleeder hose may crack and leak coolant. This can cause coolant to leak on the catalytic converter heat shield insulation causing a fire hazard. Dealers will replace the engine side coolant bleeder hose free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Volvo must be performed by a Volvo dealership. Volvo will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in June, 2019. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Volvo dealerships.
