If the shifter cable detaches from the transmission, the vehicle may not perform the shifts performed by the driver. Additionally, despite selecting PARK with the shifter, the vehicle may roll away. These scenarios may increase the risk of a crash.

The shift lever cable may detach from the transmission due to a failed bushing. Dealers will replace the transmission side shifter cable bushing free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Dodge must be performed by a Dodge dealership. Chrysler will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in May, 2019. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Dodge dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Chrysler recall number is V34.

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
