The high pressure fuel pipe that connects to the high pressure fuel pump may become damaged or detached, resulting in a fuel leak. This can occur as a result of the high pressure fuel pump detaching from it's mounting, and would create a fire hazard.

Recall repairs on your Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick or GMC truck must be performed by a General Motors dealership. General Motors will notify known owners of affected vehicles (a timetable for this notification is not available as of the time of this writing).
