The front brake hoses installed on the vehicle may be improper for the vehicle. If this is the case, they may chafe against other components, possibly resulting in a brake fluid leak. This would lead to increased stopping distances, or loss of braking which could lead to an accident.

Recall repairs on your Ford or Lincoln must be performed by a Ford or Lincoln dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in March, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford or Lincoln dealerships.
