A component that is a portion of the side curtain air bag assemblies on the vehicle may detach from the air bag during deployment. This would cause the component to become a projectile within the cabin of a vehicle, possibly injuring an occupant.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in January, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
