Front Seat Cushions Detach In A Crash

Recall Details

The power seat adjuster pivot bolts for the front seats may be loose allowing the front seat cushions to detach in a crash. Dealers will inspect the tightness of the power seat track upper pivot link bolt and apply threadlocker or replace the lift link and hardware free of charge tor resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The front seats of the vehicle may have loose bolts at the power seat adjuster. This could allow the front seat cushions to detach in an accident, which would not properly restrain the seat occupant and lead to increased risk of injury.
