Driver's Knee Air Bag Does Not Inflate As Intended In A Crash

Recall Details

The driver's knee air bag may not inflate properly as needed in an accident. Dealers will replace the driver's knee air bag free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The driver's knee air bag may not inflate properly in an accident due to a problem in manufacturing that omitted the inflator gas generant material. This would increase risk of occupant injury.
