The passenger air bag suppression system sensor may become bent or damaged within the front passenger seat, resulting in the passenger frontal air bag being disabled when needed in an accident. The manufacturer is still developing a repair procedure as of the time of this writing, and dealers will then repair the vehicles free of charge.

Recall repairs on your Pontiac or Saturn must be performed by a General Motors dealership. General Motors will notify known owners of affected vehicles (a timetable of this notification is not available as of the time of this writing). If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local General Motors dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. How many recalled cars can the dealer repair each day (while also doing their daily service business)?

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
