The anti lock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability control system (ESC) may fail to control engine torque during an event requiring activation. Dealers will replace the ABS module and update the service software free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford dealerships.
