The inlet check valve of the fuel tank may not have been welded properly during manufacturing. This could result in a fuel leak. Dealers will inspect the weld of the inlet check valve and replace the fuel tank as necessary free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Mazda must be performed by a Mazda dealership. Mazda will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Mazda dealerships. Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
