Vehicle May Fall Using Supplied Tire Jack

Recall Details

When using the supplied tire jack without chocking the wheels, the vehicle's body side sill may give out and cause the tire jack to fail and the car to fall. Dealers will provide owners with wheel chocks free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The vehicle may install using the supplied tire jack if the wheels are not secured with chocks properly. This can cause increased risk of vehicle damage and personal injury.
