An insufficiently torqued bolt may prevent the seat belt from holding the required load in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The bolts that secure the driver's side seat belt assembly may not be properly torqued. This could result in the belt not securing the driver properly in an accident. Dealers will inspect and tighten the bolts free of charge to resolve the concern.
