If the vehicle unexpectedly moves there is an increased risk of a crash.
The engine may crank over with the clutch pedal not depressed, or the engine may not crank over with the clutch pedal depressed. The clutch ignition interlock switch will be replaced to correct this problem.
Chrysler will notify customers of affected vehicles beginning in June, 2015. Additionally, if you experience a starting problem, or the engine cranks without the clutch pedal depressed, you may contact your dealership to see if your vehicle is affected. The dealership may ask for your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), so please have that on hand when you contact them. The dealership will replace the clutch ignition interlock switch when parts become available. The Chrysler recall number is R13.
