The occupant classification system that detects the presence of a passenger in the passenger front seat may not operate properly, and as a result suppress the deployment of the passenger frontal air bag in the event of a collision. Dealers will widen the gap between the seat frame and seat track assembly and re-calibrate the seat occupant classification system free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recalls on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford notified known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2014.
