Engine Pulley Abnormal Wear

Recall Details

The pulleys that the drive the alternator, cooling fan and power steering pump mounted on the engine may experience unusual wear, resulting in the drive belt coming off. Dealers will replace the belt and any worn pulleys free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The pulleys that drive the alternator, cooling fan and power steering pump as mounted on the engine may wear, causing the belt to come off. This can make steering more difficult and discharge the battery, resulting in the engine stalling.
