For vehicles equipped with a vinyl floor covering, the driver's side floor mat anchor may be missing. This could allow a floor mat to shift and cause the accelerator pedal to get lodged and stick in a position where it accelerates the vehicle without being commanded by the driver.
Recalls on your Chevrolet or GMC truck must be performed by a General Motors dealership. General Motors notified known owners of affected vehicles in August, 2014. If you did not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local General Motors dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The General Motors recall number is 14310.

The floor mat could shift such that it could interfere with the accelerator pedal, preventing its return to an idle position, which could result in unintended vehicle speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.
