Power Steering Hose Leaks

Recall Details

The power steering hose may leak due to a failure of clamps at either the steering pump or steering gear. Dealers will inspect the hose and ensure the clamps are properly secured free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

A clamp for the power steering hose may fail at the pump or the gear, resulting in a power steering fluid leak. This could cause a fire hazard and a possible loss of power steering assist, which could lead to an accident.
