Due to an internal connection issue inside the steering gear, the electric power steering may stop functioning. This would make it difficult to steer the vehicle. Dealers will reprogram the power steering control module, as well as inspect the steering gear, replacing it as necessary. These repairs will be done free of charge to resolve the problem.
