How long does a recall take to fix?

On vehicles equipped with the police option package, the low beam headlamps could fail due to an overheated harness connector. ABS/ESC system function may also be lost due to an overheated power distribution center. This could lead to a loss of visibility and/or braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the headlamp jumper harness and relocate the ABS/ESC system fuse within the power distribution center to correct these concerns. The Chrysler recall number is M01.

As of this writing, Chrysler has not released a notification schedule for vehicle owners. If you are experiencing problems with the headlights or anti-lock brake system, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you. Even if your vehicle's warranty has expired and you are not the original owner of the vehicle, you are still eligible to have any open safety recalls on your vehicle repaired.
