Recall 12V042000

The Low Beams and/or ABS System May Fail

Recall Details

On vehicles equipped with the police option package, the low beam headlamps could fail due to an overheated harness connector. ABS/ESC system function may also be lost due to an overheated power distribution center. This could lead to a loss of visibility and/or braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the headlamp jumper harness and relocate the ABS/ESC system fuse within the power distribution center to correct these concerns. The Chrysler recall number is M01.

Our Quick Take

Vehicles with the police option package are being recalled because the low beam headlamps and/or anti-lock brake system (ABS) can fail.
