On vehicles not equipped with a 115V auxiliary power outlet, the electrical connector that would be used for the outlet may become corroded and overheat. If the 25-amp fuse does not blow, the connector could overheat and catch fire. Dealers will re-route and stow the 115-volt power outlet connector and remove the 25-amp fuse. This recall is expected to begin by March 30, 2009. The Chrysler recall number is J09.

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
