ENGINE STALLING COULD CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.
Unused connectors in the TPMS may corrode and short circuit, which could cause various issues (e.g. the engine to stall unexpectedly, a no-start condition, a dead battery, and/or a non-functioning cruise control or remote start system). If the engine stalls unexpectedly, a crash may occur. Dealers will seal the wires for the TPMS. The recall began April 15, 2008. The Chrysler recall number is H07.
We at RepairPal have designated this a high priority recall; the engine may stall unexpectedly. Please contact your Chrysler dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
