THIS COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND RESULT IN A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.
The right front steering knuckle could have a casting defect due to a problem with the manufacturing equipment. The steering knuckle may fracture, which would cause a loss of steering control and a crash without warning. Dealers will inspect the vehicles to identify the defective parts and replace them as needed. The recall began November 8, 2006. The Chrysler recall number is F48.
