The power brake booster could fail due to improper crimp joints. This could result in total loss of braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect and repair the brake booster assembly to correct this concern. Vehicle owners should have been notified by May 24, 2005. They were requested not to drive their vehicles and arrangements were made for a loaner car.

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
