The fuel pump may fail due to a concern with the impeller inside of it that may be incorrectly molded during manufacturing. This can lead to an engine stall which can cause an accident.

You must contact and visit a Lexus dealership to perform recall repairs on your Lexus vehicle. The schedule for Lexus to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during July, 2004.
