For vehicles equipped with 4 wheel antilock brake systems (ABS), non-original batteries may leak electrolyte onto the ABS control module wiring connector, which can damage the connector and cause a fire hazard.

You must visit a Ram dealership to perform recall repairs on your Ram truck. The schedule for Chrysler to contact known owners of affected vehicles was during September, 2004. Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
