The left-front brake hard line may be susceptible to fracturing due to a circumferential score in a random location caused by the manufacturing process. If the line fractures, brake pedal travel will immediately increase and braking performance will be reduced. This could increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the left-front brake pipe. The recall began May 29, 2003. The GM recall number is 03025.
Please contact your GM dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
