IF THE TIRES ARE OVER-INFLATED, IT COULD REDUCE THE TREAD LIFE OF THE TIRE AND INCREASE SUSCEPTIBILITY TO ROAD HAZARD DAMAGE. IF SUDDEN AIR LOSS OR A ROAD HAZARD CAUSES DAMAGE TO A TIRE, CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE COULD BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED AND COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.

You must visit a General Motors dealership to perform recall repairs on your GMC truck. The schedule for General Motors to initially contact known owners of affected vehicles begins during May, 2001. Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
