Rear Lift Gate Does Not Stay Up on Dodge Grand Caravan

Problem Description and Possible Solution

The rear lift gate support (prop) attaching bolts may break, causing the lift gate to fall unexpectedly. Thorough inspection of the bolts is required; if the support washers are loose, the supports need to be replaced.

Power lift gate doesn't stay open. I've used the keyless remote and it beeps three times, opens fully and then slams shut. I've pressed the in cabin button by the rear view mirror and it opens fully and drops hard shut. I've tried manually opening liftgate too. I have to keep my arms raised to hold it open or else I'm in for a headache. Loading groceries is a problem. Thinking its the gas shock struts but not 100%...not looking forward to big dealership repair cost. Is his a recall problem?
Haven't fixed it yet, but the interior panels will have to come off to get the broken bolt out from behind.
The bolt attaching the rear power liftgate to the vehicle sheared off when opening. Cannot find a replacement bolt. Mopar site has wrong bolt listed.
broke the rod in the winter. The door was frozen shut, and the motor did not sense the issue and snapped the rod and I thought the rear window was toast. I just unplugged the motor for now still looking for a cheap replacement????
Sometimes it doesn't respond to key fob (which happens with other passenger slider door as well) but when it lifts it starts to fall back down almost to closing. Seems to be worse in colder weather.
Lifted the rear hatch and was putting groceries in car when lift support popped and door closed in on me. Bolt sheered off and cannot find repair kits.
