Rear Differential Cost.

What is your question?

I need to have my rear diff replace. I have over 300,000 miles on car. I found a diff @ auto wrecking yard for $450.00 w/130,000 miles. Shop estimated about $400.00 in labor. Is that good price or I'm I wasting my time and money into car?

My labor guide says 4 hours to replace differential. so labor sounds OK, include fresh oil in the differential, drive it to get the oil in the differential hot and drain and refill it again.
