rattling

it's coming from driverside. i recently had same sound in my 300zx and it ended up being joint for drive shat went out. could this possibly simular?

If you hear the noise when not moving, then this is not part of the suspension or driveshafts. I would look to the exhaust system, transmission noise or engine noise.
