I broke part of the key off in the outside door lock on the passanger side? Anyway to remove it or do I need to replace the lock? If so, how do I replace the lock? Thank you!

Bummer, you'll want to try to get the old key out of the lock if possible. You may want to to to a locksmith and see if they will do it, they will have the tools and experience to get this out fairly easily. If you cannot get it out, then you'll likely need to replace the lock cylinder. You can order one from Volvo that uses the same key as the rest of the car, or get one with a new key. The cylinder is replaced by removing the door panel and disconnecting the lock mechanism from the inside. For instructions, please check out this site for a good repair manual: http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online
Go online and order a "key extractor kit" for use with automobiles. It will have a strong threaded wire that you screw in between the key and the side of the lock. You just give the wire a solid yank (it will have a handle) and the key will pop right out. The kit will probably have some pliers or something to hold the little door on the outside of the lock open.
