Antenna will not go up all the way

What is your question?

When the car is turned on, the antenna goes up halfway and stops. When I turn the car off, the antenna goes down all the way. Any ideas? Thank you.

When the car is turned on, the antenna goes up halfway and stops. When I turn the car off, the antenna goes down all the way. Any ideas? Thank you.

The antenna mast may be dirty or bent. You need to clean it and lube it regularly with some WD-40, and if it's bent, it may need to be replaced.
