What is your question?
I was told that it could be my ignition modular or my position crankshaft position sensor. I cannot locate my modular and they don't list a sensor for this model. What should I do?

Hi I need the engine size. If it's a 2.3 non-turbo the engine module is the computer. The cranks sensor is located right near the crankshaft pulley. Remember this is only for the 2.3 non-turbo. Send me the correct engine litre size. RJ
You really need to identify what is bad, there are several things that can cause this. Have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? It's very easy and no tools are needed. look here, check port 2 and 6. http://volvospeed.com/CheckEngine.php I would start by checking the fuel pump relay and the suppression relays, these are very problematic and inexpensive. Do not replace the module, that is not your problem. The crank sensor is on top of the transmission right behind the engine and they are very problematic too.
it is a 2.3 non-turbo. the other day i went to the store it started up and ran fine. when i came out it wouldnt start, so i pulled the connections to my coil and put it right back on and it started right up. what parts would you replace to make sure that this issue is corrected? And thanks for responding!
Hi Well if you could pull the codes it would be helpful and if not and can walk you threw it. Otherwise I would reccomend a crank sensor but if you hace a test coil try it because it's easy to get to. If that doesn't work go for the crank sensor. RJ
