located in the center console on the right side of thr emergency brake level. there is a pop up tab. use a flat head screwdriver to pop this tab out

Just posting for others that it may help. My issue turned out to be the od sprag as I suspected based on online research. The whole assembly was locked up solid so i cut it open and the bearings had come out and were a mess which obviously caused the locking up.
