the garage has switched the spark plugs, and coils (to a different cylinder), replaced the spark plugs, replaced the cylinder 2 knock sensor, and switched the fuel injectors to a different cylinder. Software update to fix cylinder 2 misfire has also been done. cylinder 2 continues to misfire.
What makes this problem better or worse?
happens when engines warms up and on the freeway at 60-70% load

Hello, if a cylinder continues to misfire after swapping ignition components and fuel components, then it's important to check base engine compression. You may find you have a cylinder issue - either valve train or base engine piston or cylinder wall issue.
