Im looking for a replacement A/C condenser for a 1990 VW cabriolet.

Been to that site already and again just now.... Says out of stock... So I can't use any other condensor if I find one that fits? What about converting to r134 or whatever it is then could I add a different condensor? Thx for your reply

Converting to R134A has nothing to do with fitment. Yes, you do need to make the conversion as that refrigerant is mostly what’s available these days. But it has no bearing on whether the condenser will work or not. I think you’re going to have to measure your opening, check the inlet and outlet, and compare to similar condensers in person. You want a condenser that it’s going to be similar in size. And for practical purposes houses need to melt up in the same locations. Then you have to figure out how to secure it. Anything is possible, but this is kind of crazy. Physical inspection in comparison is required.
