Tail lights and break lights do not work

The headlight switch is the first place I would look too. Dash and tails not working, good headlight switch, good fuse. Sounds like a break in a wire, possibly a ground to short. You will need to test the voltage leaving the headlight switch for the dash and tails, then find where the voltage drops off. Probably close to the headlight switch.
