What is your question?
The noise is louder and more persistent in hot weather. Turning up the fan speeds does not result in a faster click. Activating vent buttons sometimes switches it off for periods. The sound emanates from behind the central dashboard panning. The aircon is leaking water onto the passenger side floor.

Tough to tell without looking at it but a clicking in the dash could be a blend door actuator. The leak on the passenger side is probably a different issue altogether. The drain may be clogged not allowing condensation to drain outside of the vehicle. Both require a hands on inspection to be sure so here is a link to find a shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
Thanks I knew about the aircon leak - my main concern is that if I go to a country outfit who then remove my front dashboard facia to find out where and how the noise arises. The potential is for a major disaster. I am assuming the stuff under the dashboard is not able to be reached from the inside of the engine bay through the firewall. Is diagnosis possible through any means other than dismantling the dashboard. Hands on inspection per your suggestion sounds frightening. I am asking for a referal to a qualified expert in this area.
