CAR WILL NOT START ON park

What is your question?

the car will not start occasionally, then i switch teh slector to PARK and NEUTRAL , then it will start. sometimes right away and sometimes takes 20mins. is there a gear selector switch i need to replace? and how do i replace it?

It may be the gear position switch, but it's hard to say without performing some tests. I would go to alldatadiy.com and get the repair information for your vehicle, this should have a test method for the switch, and replacement instructions too.
